우리대학, 지역 연구역량 키운다 ‘논문작성 특강’ 마련
전북대학교 중앙도서관(관장 설동훈)이 전북지역 대학생과 연구자들의 연구 역량 강화를 위해 논문 작성 교육을 실시한다.
중앙도서관은 오는 11월 4일부터 6일까지 사흘간 전주캠퍼스 중앙도서관 1층 중도라운지에서 ‘논문작성 집중 특강’을 개최키로 하고, 10월 20일부터 11월 3일까지 100명을 사전접수 받는다고 밝혔다. 특강 해당일 50명에 한해 현장 접수도 받는다.
글로컬대학30 사업의 일환으로 마련된 이번 특강에는 전북대 학생은 물론 도내 대학(원)생과 연구자라면 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
이번 특강은 논문 구성과 연구계획 수립부터 학술지 투고 전략, 심사 대응, 최신 AI 도구 활용까지 실제 연구 과정에 바로 적용할 수 있는 실무형 강의로 구성된 것이 특징이다.
11월 4일 ▲인문사회계 논문작성법 및 투고 전략(전성욱 글로빛 대표), 11월 5일 ▲이공계 논문작성법 및 투고 전략(윤석훈 교수), 11월 6일 ▲논문 이해·작성법 및 AI 기반 영어논문 작성(윤석훈 교수) 순으로 진행된다.
각 강의에서는 연구계획서 작성법, 학술지 선택과 투고 준비 절차, 심사 의견 대응 전략 등 논문 출판 전 과정을 실제 사례 중심으로 다루며 연구자들이 겪는 현실적 어려움을 해결할 수 있도록 돕는다.
특히 6일 강의에서는 생성형 인공지능(AI)과 챗GPT(ChatGPT)를 활용한 학술 글쓰기 방법을 소개해 국제 학술지 투고를 준비하는 연구자들의 관심을 모을 것으로 기대된다.
참가자를 위한 맞춤형 지원도 마련된다. 신청자 중 추첨을 통해 총 15명에게 전문가 1대1 논문 코칭 기회가 주어진다.

설동훈 전북대 중앙도서관장은 “이번 특강은 전북지역 대학생과 연구자들이 논문 작성에 필요한 구체적인 방법과 최신 도구를 익힐 수 있는 소중한 기회”라며, “도서관이 지역사회의 학문적 성장을 이끄는 교육 중심 기관으로서의 역할을 더욱 강화하는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
JBNU Strengthens Regional Research Capacity with “Academic Writing Workshop”
Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) Central Library, led by Director Seol Dong-hoon, will hold a special academic writing training program to enhance the research capabilities of university students and researchers in the Jeonbuk region.
The workshop, titled “Intensive Academic Writing Course,” will take place from November 4 to 6 at the Central Library Lounge on the Jeonju Campus. Pre-registration for 100 participants is open from October 20 to November 3, and on-site registration will also be available for up to 50 participants per day.
Organized as part of the Glocal University 30 initiative, the program is open not only to JBNU students but also to university and graduate students, as well as researchers across the Jeonbuk region.
This three-day lecture series will provide practical, hands-on training that can be directly applied to real research processes — covering topics such as thesis structure, research planning, submission strategies for academic journals, peer review response techniques, and the use of the latest AI tools in research writing.
The sessions will be led by experts:
November 4: Academic Writing and Submission Strategies in Humanities and Social Sciences (by Seong-uk Jeon, CEO of Geulbit Publishing)
November 5: Academic Writing and Submission Strategies in Science and Engineering (by Professor Seok-hoon Yoon)
November 6: Understanding, Writing, and AI-Based English Academic Writing (by Professor Seok-hoon Yoon)
Each lecture will address the entire publication process — from writing research proposals to selecting journals, preparing submissions, and responding to reviewers — with a focus on real-world cases to help researchers overcome common challenges.
In particular, the November 6 session will introduce academic writing methods using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, expected to draw strong interest from researchers preparing to submit papers to international journals.
Participants will also have access to customized support: 15 individuals will be selected by lottery to receive one-on-one coaching sessions with academic writing experts.
