We are recruiting applicants for the "Campus Buddy Program," where Korean and international students form teams to engage in language exchange and cultural exchange activities. We encourage interested students to participate.
Period of Activity : During the 2024-2 semester
Period of Application : From Septemer 4(Wed) to Septemer 10, 2024 (Tue).
Total numbers of Recruitment: 120 participants (30 teams, 60 mentors, and 60 mentees).
Mentors: 60 Korean undergraduate students.
Mentees: 60 international students (including exchange students).
Additional recruitment will be considered if the number of applicants exceeds the recruitment quota.
** Eligibility:
Mentees (international students): Our university's international students and exchange students.
** Qualifications preferred : Holders of certified language proficiency scores, previous participation in the Buddy Program.
Hours of activity : A minimum of 30 hours or more.
(Since the program runs for one semester, please apply if you can commit to participating diligently and consistently.)
** Activities Include:
Support for adapting to university life.
Understanding Korean culture (Traditional cultural experiences: traditional games, cultural heritage site visits, cultural and artistic exchanges, etc.).
Mandatory Activity Missions:
Campus tours, introducing the culture of your home country, tours of the Jeonbuk region, etc. (Refer to the attached document).
** Scholarships will not be provided to teams that fail to submit activity logs or complete mandatory missions.
Benefits of Participation:
Program activity confirmation will be issued.
Scholarship for each team (4 members): Total of KRW 500,000 (scheduled to be paid twice).
The first payment will be made after completing 15 hours of activity, and the second payment will be made after completing a total of 30 hours of activity.

** Upcoming Schedule:
Announcement of results: After 18:00 on Septembet 12(Thu), individual emails will be sent.
Orientation: Septembet 13 (Fri) at 14:00. Attendance is mandatory; failure to attend will result in automatic disqualification.
