Development of Optimization Framework for Designing Silicon Solar Cell

The efficiency of solar cell was achieved up to 22% by using optimisation module. Few modifications was done into the input environment in pursuit of higher value of efficiency. In this week presentation, a few condition will be explain to achieve the desire value of efficiency.

1. The temperature effect on efficiency

Solar Cell Model Analysis & Optimization Program

The pursuit of efficiency and sustainable energy sources has led to significant advancements in solar cell technology. Design optimization of solar cell contributes to improving the efficiency of solar cells and optimization algorithms is a powerful tool in this process. The primary objective of this study is to develop an optimization module that can enhance the performance of solar cells by systematically varying design parameters. This presentation focuses on the study of solar cell efficiency through design optimization. In this week update, the mathematical derivation for the design optimization of the solar cell will be discussed.



Design Optimization of Antenna System for Energy System

Presenter: Sarayuth Prommanop


The study proposes a design optimization method using ANSYS for antenna systems in energy systems. The objective is to maximize overall performance considering factors like gain, directivity, bandwidth and impedance matching. The methodology involves examining energy system requirements, creating a preliminary design using ANSYS HFSS, and performing electromagnetic simulations to evaluate performance. Deisn modifications are made based on simulation results, including parameter adjustments and geometry changes. ANSYS optimization algorithms are used to explore the design space and identify optimal configurations. Case studies demonstrate improved performance in solar power plants, wind farms, and smart grids. The approach enhances wireless communication, improving system efficiency and reliability.
