• Development of a universal Salmonella vaccine using attenuated and/or “new-normal” inactivated Salmonella whole cells
• Development of diagnostic kits for the detection of major foodborne and animal pathogenic bacteria based on recombinant proteins
• Development of diagnostic kits for the detection of major foodborne and animal pathogenic bacteria using monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies
• Investigation of delivery system mechanisms and vaccine development using recombinant proteins
• Discovery and development of antibiotic alternatives based on antimicrobial peptides and lactic acid bacteria
