Our group are interested in in the research fields connecting the synthesis of nanostructured materials and applications in energy fields such as artificial photosynthesis (solar to fuel, hydrogen production), solar cells, (Photo)electrochemical materials, catalytic applications.

1. Solar Water Splitting by using Photoelectrochemical Cells (H2/O2 Production)
2. Cathode and Anode Materials for Sodium Ion Battery (SIB) or Lithium Ion Battery (LIB)
3. Water Electrolysis (Development of HER/OER Electrocatalyst)
4. Solar Hydrogen Production from Waste Compounds (e.g. H2S, Organic Compounds, etc.)

5. Solar Environmental Application (Bacterial Inactivation, Organic Pollutant Decomposition)
6. Removal of Radioactive Waste using Prussian Blue
7. Sr Recovery from Sea Water over Selective Adsorbent or Electrochemical Adsorption
8. VOCs removal over dual functional adsorbent/photocatalyst
