According to The Global Risks Report 2020, there is increasing demand for R&D to respond to changes in the domestic and foreign agricultural environment and solve problems in the field of politics, enconomy, society, and technology. Climate change crisis is also an increasing risk factor in the production and progress of livestock food due to the failure of climate change action.
On the basis of those issues, the educational research group has been established. With highly qualified 14 professors, we are expecting to cultivate human resource for controlling hazards in the production and progress of agricultural, livestock and foods in response to climate change.
What is BK21?
Brain Korea 21 (BK21) is a governmental scholarship program running every seven year since 1999, to build the upgrading research infrastructure and outstanding scholars able to lead in responding to social changes. In the Phase 4, South Korea is expecting to establish competitive R&D fields, MD and PhD faculties, lab-based graduate school curriculum, and human resources for social demand.
We has been selected as one of the implementing institutions for BK21 program, proceeding from Sept 2020 to Aug 2027.
