Message from the Chair of the Department of Ethics Education

Greetings,

Since its founding in 1981 as the Department of National Ethics Education, the Department of Ethics Education at Jeonbuk National University has nurtured and produced many dedicated teachers of morality and ethics.

Our department places great emphasis on the holistic growth of students. Through our faculty advising system, we provide individual counseling to create an encouraging academic environment while also offering guidance in career development, emotional growth, and personal life management.

Students in our department also engage in active extracurricular activities through academic clubs such as Yullim and Logos. In these communities, they pursue in-depth research and discussion on diverse ethical issues, fostering their dreams of becoming dynamic and thoughtful educators.

These experiences not only provide our graduates with lasting memories of their college years but also contribute to their continued success, as reflected in our department’s strong performance in the Secondary School Teacher Certification Examination each year.
