- August Co-hosting the Korean Association for Policy Studies Summer International Conference — approximately 3,000 participants (planned)
2026
- November Forum with the ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council states to Korea — Lotte Hotel Seoul (planned)
- October International academic forum co-hosted with Jeonbuk Technopark — National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (planned)
2025
- December Professor Kyung-Ah Kim (Public Administration) appointed founding Director; external advisory board convened and cooperation networks established
- November KMEI-TIP founded as a research institute of Jeonbuk National University (17 participating faculty members)
The Institute publishes the monthly KMEI-TIP Policy Brief and convenes expert seminars on current policy issues, closing the distance between research and practice.
