[Call For Paper] 2026 Joint International Conference Da Nang City, Vietnam (26/8/22 - 23)
[Call for Paper] The 2026 Joint International Conference, themed “Origins, Resources, and Solidarity: Restoring Identity and Social Integration,” aims to reexamine the historical exchanges between Korea and Vietnam, as well as the cultural, linguistic, and social relationships that have emerged from these interactions. Through this initiative, the conference seeks to broaden the horizons of connection and cooperation between the two countries.
The 2026 Joint International Conference, themed “Origins, Resources, and Solidarity: Restoring Identity and Social Integration,” is organized with the aim of creating an academic forum where researchers, lecturers, and educational administrators can exchange ideas, share experiences, and propose practical solutions. By reconstructing the past and present of both countries through documentary, linguistic, and cultural practices, the conference seeks to produce and disseminate valuable memories and knowledge for future generations, while also proposing a new global model of inclusion and solidarity.
1. Conference Themes
The conference themes focus on the following key areas:
- History and Memory: The Multilayered Roots of Korea–Vietnam Relations
- Documentation and Archives: Methods of Preserving Records within Diverse Communities
- Language and Education: Communication and Identity Across Generations
- Cultural Representation and Media: Images of One Another
- Social Inclusion and Rights: Policies, Institutions, and Practices
- Community and Solidarity: Toward New Models of Coexistence and Symbiosis

3. Guidelines for Conference Paper Submission
3.1. Paper Formatting Guidelines
- Strictly follow the attached template (JIC template 2026.docx) and write the abstract in English.
- Ensure the abstract is complete from introduction to conclusion.
- Papers should be prepared on A4-sized paper and should be prepared within 5–6 pages (excluding references and appendices).
- Include all authors’ email addresses in the affiliation section, as specified in the template.
3.2. Submission Schedule
- Deadline for paper submission: July 15, 2026
- Notification of paper review results: August 3, 2026

Papers that successfully pass the peer-review process will be selected for publication in the conference proceedings with an ISBN number.
