Since its founding in 1971, Jeonbuk National University College of Medicine has grown into a leading medical educational institution in Korea through education, research, clinical practice, and service. Now, surpassing its 50th anniversary, we stand on the path to a new leap forward, heading into the next 100 years.
With over 5,400 alumni since its founding, our university plays a pivotal role not only in the local community but also in the advancement of healthcare in Korea. Our faculty has led education and research with dedication and responsibility, our students have dedicated themselves to their studies with a passion for learning, and our alumni have enhanced the reputation of our medical school through pride and strong solidarity. The Jeonbuk National University College of Medicine today is the result of the combined efforts and dedication of all these members.
Going forward, our medical school will unite as one—faculty, students, staff, and alumni—to achieve continuous advancement across the spectrum of education, research, and community service. We will proactively respond to the rapidly changing landscape of medical education and leap forward as a world-class medical school through innovative medical education and convergent research.
