Introduction
The common musculoskeletal disorders are taught both in lecture and in surgery during the first semester of the third year and the first semester of the fourth year. In the third year, lectures emphasize the fundamentals of neuromuscular affectations, tumors, fractures, and the foot. Students participate in surgery as a second assistant three times during their fourth year. Third-year students spend three hours a week for lecture (2 credits) during the first semester. Fourth year students spend one week for bedside teaching (1 credit) during the first semester.
