Introduction
Diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck are taught by lectures and clinical instruction. Third-year students attend lectures during the first semester for 2 hours per week for a total of 32 hours per year (1.5 credits). Fourth-year students receive clinical instruction during the first semester for 45 hours (1 credit). The clinical component is composed of taking part in surgery, ward rounding, journal meetings, and case presentations.
