Introduction to the Department of Medicine
Admission to the master's degree program began in February 1979, and doctoral students began in February 1981, graduating a total of over 2,600 students. Currently, the department comprises 31 specialized departments (9 basic medicine departments and 22 clinical medicine departments) and a faculty of 152 full-time professors and 9 endowed professors, conducting a wide range of research and educational activities.
Educational Goals
The department aims to cultivate creativity and research capabilities in the medical field, fostering competent researchers and nurturing medical leaders with the fundamental qualities and capabilities of educators.
