Introduction
The Department of Breast and Thyroid Surgery provides systematic and specialized care for patients with tumors and various diseases of the breast, thyroid, parathyroid, and head and neck regions. For benign breast tumors, we utilize ultrasound-guided vacuum-assisted aspiration biopsy (Mammotome) to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat them without scarring the surgical site. For breast cancer, we utilize sentinel lymph node biopsy, breast-conserving surgery, skin-sparing mastectomy, and mammoplasty to maximize patient satisfaction, maximize treatment effectiveness, and minimize complications, resulting in high survival rates. Furthermore, we perform fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) for the diagnosis of breast and thyroid tumors, providing a high level of care. We also perform endoscopic and robotic thyroidectomy for benign nodules and early-stage thyroid cancer, achieving exceptionally high patient satisfaction after surgery. Furthermore, one of our greatest advantages over other hospitals is our close communication with patients undergoing chemotherapy, ensuring prompt and appropriate management of any issues that may arise after discharge.
